Wall Street meltdown – the video
Posted by Prieur du Plessis under Money, Markets, Investment
The past few months presented investors with a series of unique (perhaps bizarre) events in financial markets. Although extremely serious in its consequences for economic activity and wealth management, one Mr L. McDuff can be excused for portraying the sequence of shaninigans as a hilarious video (based on Billy Joel’s “We didn’t start the fire”). Let’s step back from the rather depressing financial saga unfolding from minute to minute to enjoy a moment of light-hearted relief.

Just great. The dismal science needs good lyrics with a beat.

Very funny! I hope we’re still laughing a year from now when we realise the subprime isn’t the tip of the iceberg but a tiny snowball on the tip of the iceberg.
