There are less and less of new homes available on the market.New home inventories are down by 25.5% y/y (502K => 374K, down by 128K). It means that we should expect stabilization and possibly an increase in new home prices in the near future (like Spring 2009).Low new homes inventories + 48% increase in mortgage applications + historically low mortgage rates + stimulus package + exponential growth of money supply = possible housing and economic recovery much sooner than most of you thinkhttp://www.census.gov/const/newressales.pdfhttp://www.mbaa.org/NewsandMedia/PressCenter/66903.htmhttp://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/H6/Current/

I think that many have missed a very important statistic and a trend in available new homes inventories (inventories of new homes are at a new low and well below long-term average).
