Drinks at the bar, in NYC
I will again be embarking on a long-haul flight from Cape Town to the US in two weeks’ time. My final destination is San Diego where, amongst others, I will be attending a Richard Russell Tribute Dinner. However, in order to catch up with business associates and “feel” the east coast economic temperature, I have arranged to connect via JFK and will be spending Tuesday, March 31 in New York City. Given the fact that I will be in the Big Apple for only one day, it will be difficult to accommodate any one-on-one meetings. As I am keen to meet as many of the Investment Postcards readers as possible, I have decided to again schedule an informal get-together in midtown Manhattan from 17:30 to 19:00 that afternoon. If you are interested in joining me for a drink or two, and “putting a face to the name”, please get in touch through the “comments” or “contact” sections of the site so that that I can send the details to you.

Donald Coxe: Obviously a well read global person and might be quite influencial. I wonder, however, how he is smarter than 800 leading scientests from around the world on the topic of Global Warming? Is he attempting to appeal to the “dumb rich” in his soft selling to potential clients? Careful, his comments could really cheapen your excellent financial blog. He apparently doesn’t get out very much to see the affects of the climate change, never matter the cause. It is probably the most important economic issue facing all of us and can not be denied!
It’s great to see writers keeping in touch with their reader base. I actually just came across your blog, and will definitely be checking back on a day-to-day basis. While I won’t be in NYC, you’ve definitely gained a reader here… keep up the good work!
