The newspaper clip below first started doing the rounds in 2007 - virtually at the peak of the bull market - but has now found its way back into my inbox. I wonder whether the lady in question has by now adjusted her “standards” to recession levels.

I think that was a crappy answer. I’m sure this girl has a lot more to bring to the table than spectacular looks. I’m sure there are lots of wealthy men out there who would love to meet her and consider marriage. She said she was articulate and classy for heaven’s sake. You should be so lucky.
