Blogging – taking a break while visiting Texas
I will be traveling to Texas later today to, among others, attend John Mauldin’s 60th birthday celebrations in Dallas over the weekend. Blog posting will be absent for most of the time while I am on the road and “Words from the Wise” will take a break next Sunday (October 4). The normal blogging service will be resumed on my return to Cape Town on October 6.

Puru Saxena: Inflation is our future
“Given the uncertainty in the world today and the ticking inflationary time-bomb, my view is that gold will soon embark on its north-bound journey. So, I suggest that investors hold on to gold and the related mining companies which will probably continue to perform well until next spring,” said Puru Saxena in this guest contribution.
