Blogging – light activity for a few days
As you might have noticed, my blogging activity has been confined to republishing a few interesting snippets and guest posts over the past two days. This will remain the pattern until Monday as I am involved in the Soccer World Cup draw taking place in Cape Town this weekend. I am required to fulfil a number of official functions in my capacity as Honorary Consul of Slovenia in South Africa. Slovenia is one of the 32 teams that have qualified for the tournament, having beaten Russia in the final qualifying matches. The normal blogging service will be resumed on Monday, December 7. 2 comments to Blogging – light activity for a few daysLeave a Reply | |||||||||||

Prieur, how about a World Cup section on the side in this blog? I sure would like to read some “insider” views. Of course, action will really pick up only in a few months’ time, but here’s something for you to think about.
As always, many thanks for a great website. Best wishes.
bklash: I really don’t know much about soccer, but am on a very fast learning curve, having been part of the Slovenian Football Association delegation at the Final Draw and other events of the past few days. The one thing I can say categorically is that South Africa will host one of the greatest World Cups of all. The world will be very pleasantly surprised by what South Africa has to offer. Book those tickets soonest!
