US: Earnings, health care The health-care bill could get a full vote and earnings season heats up with reports scheduled from heavyweights Google, IBM, AMD, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Citigroup, General Electric, McDonald’s and Starbucks. Europe: ASML, ST-Ericsson Tech specialists ASML and ST-Ericsson report earnings along with British luxury-goods giant Burberry and the London Stock Exchange. The ZEW investor sentiment survey from Germany will also be out. Asia: China economic growth in focus China will report its fourth quarter GDP and investors will watch the data to get a sense of how aggressively Beijing will have to act to rein in inflation.
