It’s another busy week as more S&P companies and three Dow components post results. The budget battle also gets under way on Capitol Hill, and employment comes into focus again.
Europe: Airlines, oil majors in focus
Low-cost giant Ryanair and UK carrier British Airways report results, as well as oil majors BP and Royal Dutch Shell and telecoms operator Vodafone. On the economics front, the Bank of England and the European Central Bank release their latest interest-rate decisions.
Asia: Full economic slate
An important question remains about whether China will continue moves to tighten its lending. Other items on the agenda include vehicle sales in Japan and a rate decision in Australia.
