GDP lead sectors take off but rest lags

Growth in GDP (total goods and services produced in the economy, excluding inflation) speeded up in the 4Q2009, confirming the recovery gaining strength.

Silver slides

As a matter of fact, the price ($15.67) declined to below its 200-day moving average ($16.00), having already breached the 50-day line in mid-January ($16.96).
