    Mr. Du Plessis,

Back on 1998 I invested $10,000.00 with Legg Mason under the Value Trust Fund managed by “The Legend” Bill Miller. Today, I still have not recovered my initial capital. Mr. Miller is not different at all to nobody, during the worst months on the latest financial crisis he continued buying without realizing the magnitude of the crisis.
For sure he does not belong to the very reduced group of people that showed “common sense” and they were not driven by the stupidity of the popular arrogant culture of Wall Street. Finally, not every thing that apparently shines is gold.

  • After spending close to a half hour listening, I checked his latest perfomance for the Value C Fund in Morningstar. He has a one-star rating and Low Returns High Ris for 3,5 and 10 year periods. More recently, his performance/ratings within category as follows: 1 day-2.35%/97th, i week -7.72%/91, i month -9.3/93.
Per M*’s latest numbers, he is 27% in Financials…Prieur, why waste our time with such garbage?
