Europe: Banks, car makers report
Some of Europe’s biggest firms are due to report earnings over the coming week, with banks UBS and Deutsche Bank, car maker Volkswagen and oil giant Royal Dutch Shell among the blue chip companies in focus, while on the economic front, the UK’s third quarter gross domestic product is expected to slow sharply from the second quarter.
Asia: Bank of Japan
A policy decision from the Bank of Japan, AIA’s initial public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and a slew of economic data will dominate news in Asia’s week ahead.
