Wealthtrack: David Einhorn – “Tread cautiously”
On this week’s WealthTrack, Consuelo Mack conducts a rare interview with David Einhorn, President of the long-short, value-oriented hedge fund Greenlight Capital. He co-founded the firm in 1996 with a million dollar investment from a handful of people, including his mom. Today, according to the firm, it has $6.8 billion under management. Since inception, Greenlight has delivered more than a 21% annualized net return for its partners. Einhorn is about to publish the second edition of his 2008 book, “Fooling Some Of The People All Of The Time: A Long Short Story”. The new book provides a morality tale about the financial crisis and the long trail of its aftermath, and is entitled “Fooling Some Of The People All Of The Time: A Long Short (And Now Complete) Story”. Note: The transcript of this interview is not available yet, but will be posted here as soon as it arrives. Source: Wealthtrack, November 19, 2010. More on this topic (What's this?)
