He explains why he believes the Federal Reserve’s easy money policies will wreak havoc on the economy and markets. Grant discusses the dangers of inflation creep and how to protect portfolios against is.

    Reading between the lines of Bernanke’s statements as relayed by Grant, it looks to me as if Bernanke may be trying to prepare the country for unavoidable inflation. Despite his wording about inflation targets, the Fed may actually be trying to paint the inevitable (or already occurring) inflation as something it has planned for and welcomes.
