Face to face with Eric Sprott on gold and more
Eric King of King World News recently conducted an excellent interview with Eric Sprott, Chairman of Sprott Asset Management. Sprott has more than 35 years’ experience in the investment industry and manages $5 billion, including a gold and silver trust. He has been very accurate in his writings for over a decade and pre-crisis correctly chronicled the dangers of excessive leverage and the bubbles the Fed was creating. It seems to be there is a problem of policy as well as too much debt. Here in the UK Cameron has not made one positive statement about how to improve the country or economy – Britain may have been badly hit by the American banking crisis – but it was not as bad as all that – Cameron came in and blamed all this on Labour which was a lie – and then proceeded to say how broken the country was. In fact he has made everyone depressed. What caused the riots? I would say hopelessness – putting people in jail for stealing a bottle of water is something out of Les Miserables. Put money into teaching these young men how to read, write and skill them up. Who would want to invest money in the atmosphere Cameron has created?
