Timing the markets, with Martin Armstrong

Eric King of King World News recently conducted an excellent interview with Martin Armstrong, former head of Princeton Economics.

Armstrong began exploring financial panics after witnessing the Crash of 1966. He went on to develop timing models based on the theory that economic cycles recur over centuries. His discovery of a cycle called “The Secret Cycle” by the New Yorker Magazine had great accuracy and had pinpointed changes in the economy right to the day.

In a detour, Armstrong was jailed from 2000 until earlier this year on civil and criminal charges stemming from what prosecutors said was a $700 million Ponzi scheme. He has repeatedly challenged his guilty verdict.

“I would like to take the time to thank everyone who has stood by me these many years,” said Armstrong in a letter on the website MartinArmstrong.org. “What I have seen is the deep corruption that lingers through the political-financial system that threatens the future of my family and friends.”
