Poll: Which way equities in 2012?

EmailPrint This Post Print This Post

As 2011 draws to a close, pundits’ opinions on the outlook for the U.S. stock market are as varied as ever. How do you see the outlook for equities? Let’s run a snap poll among the readers of Investment Postcards to ascertain the lie of the land.

I have kept this very simple by giving only three choices for the level of the S&P 500 Index on a 12-month view: bullish, neutral or bearish. I realize this is quite unscientific but it will nevertheless make for interesting reading. Just play along and click the appropriate button on the poll image below. The poll will run until 22:00 EST on Saturday, December 31, 2011, after which the results will be reported on the blog.

Please also post any interesting ideas or links that you would like to share with the Investment Postcards community in the comments section.

Where will the S&P 500 Index be by the end of 2012?
Higher (more than 1,256)
About the same (around 1,256)
Lower (less than 1,256)
