Used to live in Gordon's Bay in 1983 and taught at the Athlone school for the Blind in Bellville South. Loved your country and the people. Gordon's Bay was a sleepy little town then. I am heavily invested in gold funds here since 2001 (USAGX,VGPMX, UNWPX, USERX) and have done quite well. Bit the bullet on Drooy though.Just discovered your site and will visit it often. Sad to say, I revisited SA in 2004 for a month and stayed with friend in Cape Town. I hope your fine country holds together and doesn't go the way of Zimbabwe.
