Ruling due on BAA’s appeal on airports sale; Allied Irish shareholders vote on whether to shift bad assets to government.

Asia: Japan inflation watch
Investors will be watching economic data in Japan for inflation, especially consumer price and household spending data. Taiwan’s central bank will meet and issue an interest rate decision.
